My friend and I traveled to Street Vibrations on motorcycles and again I stayed at the Sunrise Motel. Second time staying here. Owners are friendly and the rooms are quiet and clean. Cost is reasonable. Again, I would stay here for the 3rd time when in the area. Area of motel is convenient to freeways and easy on and off. Thank you to the owners for the perfect motel out of the noise of downtown areas.
This renovated space is clean, has updated rooms, with new carpets, tile, coffee, TV, fridge, & microwave. The bed had clean updated sheets, pillows & comforters. The bed slept comfortably. The parking lot has recently been paved, and there is extra parking in the back, and all parking is monitored by security cameras. Even the landscaping was nice. Every part of this location was exceptionally clean and tended to. Raj & family clearly take pride in providing a nice stay. It will be a regular stay of ours in the future. Sunset Motel is just a few blocks from Victorian Square and less than 5 miles from downtown Reno.
A bit pricey at $79 a night, but overall better than any of the other motels in Reno. Super quite, even in a downstairs room. I'd stay here again, but never ever want to go back to Reno. It's an arm pit compared to Vegas!
What a delight. I am so happy we finally found empathetic and ethical on-site landlords. I had this location recommended by, The Victorian Inn and can't wait to thank them personally. I hope you stay here, because, I wish for you to experience first hand, good people in a town where, other, similar rentals are abundantly offensive and or aggressive. I stayed there a few days ago i was really pleased with the motel room the man i called let him know that I was at greyhound sparks station and would be coming down had room for me being older Was great to find place quiet and clean desk clearks very helpful letting me know where to get something to eat would reawakened
Very nice place to stay. Owner was friendly and kept the place clean. Located within walking distance of some great places to eat! Also had some beautiful roses planted out front. I will definitely be staying here every time I come to Reno!
I give five stars based on what the Sunrise is - a smaller, inexpensive, independent motel. Many room features are older or worn but also clean and in working condition. Wifi, refrigerator, microwave worked very well. Freeway access is better than any other motel in the area. The building has cinder block walls inside and out, so there is very little freeway noise (unless you open the window). It's a short drive to Sparks' largest shopping malls and less than a mile from a major hotel-casino and a cinema.
this was not our first choice but someone directed us to it after most motels were full at 10pm, and my mom and I were glad that they did. we really appreciated the comforting atmosphere and pleasant stay.
